Hello My name is Freya. I am a Black/Rust female. My Mother is Babes Blue Sheba Girl and my Dad is J.W.'s Clydeo. My mom is Blue/Tan and my dad is Red/Rust.

I am a black#1. For those of you that know genetics. No matter what color I breed with I am going to have Black puppies. Or so the lady says that studied my lines. And looked into my genetics.

I have a very warm manner. Excellant disposition my mom says. Good with kids and others. And pretty good with other dogs. I have to check out strangers but I don't bite them. Least I have not found one that I wanted to bite yet. LOL>I am a great watch dog. I bark at anything out of the ordinary.
I am a special puppy I am told. When my mom had us she developed mastitus. That is very serious and can kill us. The vet that checked my mom said she was ok and she wasn't. (mema don't use him no more) She was in such pain that she attacked me when I was only a week and half old when I was trying to nurse. She shook and flung me like a rag doll and I landed up against the wall. I cried something awful my mema says.She was there when it happened and grabbed me up and comforted me but I would not quit crying. Mom had shook me so hard it dislocated my neck. My head was twisted to the side. When I finally quit crying mema checked me over for other damage. I was ok except for my neck. I know mom did not mean to hurt me. It was the pain she was in. Mema said I would be hers and have a home for life as she would not sell me and she sure as heck was not going to put me down. Said a crick in the neck was not going to change me as a dog. This is me below at 4 weeks old, at this time I was called little Crick neck. And I was very much loved.Mema said it did not make any difference if I was not like all the others. That it was not my fault and no matter what she loved me. Amy loved me a lot to. And played with me lot. Because she loved me so much she asked if she could have me since mema was keeping me, and Mema gave me to Amy.

Now you might think that they would have put me down since I was not right but that's not my mema. She was not going to give up on meShe took time and worked with my neck. Then she talked to her Chriopractor about me and he told her to bring me in. And she come home got me and took me to Dr. Stowe in Phenix City.Al. He started doing adjustments on me. Each week mema took me in to see him. I squirmed a lot when he worked with me. It hurt some and I was scared. But after a few weeks my neck and back was all back in alignment. As he said my back was messed up too. He was wonderful. And I thank him so much for taking the time to help me. Now I am a big beautiful Dog. And you would never know I had been hurt when I was a baby. And thats how I got my name. Amy named me Freya the Charmed One because I was a charmed puppy and lucky to be alive.
Now I am all grown up as you can see from my picture at the top. And I have had my first litter of puppies. There all big and beautiful. See them below. They are just one month old in this photo.
I have marked most all of my puppies with my white mark. It is on the toes. LOL>Not much just a hint of white on the tips of there toes just like me. And some have a white dot under there neck. I have been a really good momma dog my mema says. And mum says I am very good. I get so much good stuff. I get the best food. They call it Holistic dog food. And lots of human food. I love it all. We get a lot of venison too. Man that stuff is good. Right now with pups I get a lot more extra so I can feed the pups. Mema does up venison broth and brings over for us all to eat.She bought a freezer for mum to freeze up meat and broth for us. She keeps mum well supplied with good stuff for us.
I have 2 acres to run and play in. Love chasing chipmunks and squirrels. And sometimes we catch them and take them in the house to present to mum. She don't like that tho. Don't know why, we kill em before we take em in. But she says there nasty. But they were fun for us to play with. And we're proud that we caught them. So we have to show her how good we are and how fast we are. The chase is so much fun.
We have a dog door in the house so we come and go as we want to. We live in the house. I sleep on the couch and bed. Just depends on where I want to be. And how squiggly my master is. LOL> I think I have the best home that a dog could have. And I could not ask for more loving humans. We really are very spoiled. But don't tell them that. When my ears came out of the box I looked like the flying nun. But they came up and I turned into a beauty.

This is me at 6 months. I have such a personality. When you talk to me I tip my head and listen to you. And I love laying in the grass in the yard.
